Chompi started with a simple question: why is finding a trustworthy dog walker so hard?
We looked at the existing platforms: Rover, Tailster, and others. We saw a pattern: high fees, opaque sitter vetting, no real accountability after the booking, and no meaningful transparency for pet owners who just want to know their dog is safe.
So we decided to build something different. A platform where trust is designed in from the start, with GPS-verified check-ins, timestamped photos, post-visit welfare reports, and full visibility on every sitter's cancellation history and response times.
We're launching in Doncaster first, then expanding across South and West Yorkshire. We're proud to be building something local, something community-first, and something genuinely better for the pets and people who use it.
To make pet care in the UK safer, more transparent, and fairer for both pet owners and the sitters who care for their animals.
That means lower fees for sitters (we take just 10%), real accountability tools for owners, and a platform that grows with its community rather than extracting from it.
